Leading in 3D: Becoming a Digital Business

Abstract

This IDC study outlines an enterprise digital transformation (DX) road map for CIOs. Digital transformation leaders catalyzing their companies' conversion must tackle many cross-functional issues. They must organize a plan of action that establishes a feasible sequence for tackling issues to enterprise digital transformation. This study allows digital transformation leaders to ascertain how market front-runners are framing the digitalization challenge. In addition, it demonstrates how IDC's Leading in 3D research provides much needed guidance toward that end: CIOs and other technology professionals who want to "lead in 3D" for successful digital transformations can construct a time-bound five-part DX road map based on these themes and initiatives.
