Abstract

This IDC study helps IT executives understand how leadership shapes the DX innovation cultures of the enterprise. Innovation strategies are shaped within an enterprise by the nature of its industry, leadership, and culture, and how it uses emergent DX technologies. This study helps CIOs make the right choices in creating the cultures of DX innovation based on an understanding of how their business partners envision the digital future of the enterprise. The study explores the following issues:

  • What are the four basic cultures of innovation? How do they differ?
  • How does a leader's approach to innovation shape each culture's goals and the metrics for success?
  • How can CIOs integrate innovation cultures to support complex DX business initiatives that differ in terms of scale, outcome and value?
