Abstract

This IDC Perspective examines how FedEx Express operations management outlined a set of business-critical criteria in its global connectivity solution decision process with IDC. This study outlines how the demands of FedEx Express' global workforce, mobile device requirements, and operational standards drove the company's ultimate selection of Vodafone as a trusted solution provider in this space. The goal of this study is to provide technology buyers with the major criteria that are a requisite part of a successful global connectivity solution, as well as key considerations and strategies for success.
