Abstract

This IDC Market Perspective discusses IBM Services Analyst Event 2017. IDC analysts attended IBM's Services Analyst Event in November 2017 in New York City. IBM emphasized the connections between its Business Services and Technology Services organizations as well as showed the integration of Watson into every aspect of its services delivery.

Linking its two services organizations across business- and technology-oriented offerings is critical at a time when business and C-suite buyers hold greater and greater sway over how IT investments are made," said Rebecca Segal, group VP, Worldwide Services Research at IDC.
