Abstract

This IDC Tech Buyer Presentation provides extensive IDC survey data showing that over 50% of enterprises are failing to execute their digital transformation strategies. Enterprises are being challenged competitively by new digital strategies, and many are failing to transform to remain competitive in their markets. Furthermore, this data shows that both IT and lines of business (LOBs) are dissatisfied with technology sourcing and procurement in their enterprises. Procurement is widely perceived as a "black hole" where requests are made, and nothing results. Many enterprises struggle with bureaucratic procurement process roadblocks.
