Abstract

This IDC Survey provides an overview of the results from a 2019 U.S. survey of enterprises involving their use of managed services for workplace technologies focused on the business value of these services. The survey involved 400 respondents from U.S. firms with 1,000+ employees. This document offers primarily qualitative insight into the business value that enterprises place on utilizing managed services for workplace technologies (e.g., endpoint devices, AR/VR, automation) with a focus on business and services measurements, analytics priorities required by user, process, financial factors, and endpoint technology; preferred financing model; and expected cost savings.
