DXC FY 3Q19: Revenue Growth Remains Elusive, But Digital Bookings Strong

By: Rebecca SegalGroup Vice President, Worldwide Services, Pushkaraksh ShanbhagSr. Research Manager

Abstract

This IDC Market Note examines DXC Technology's FY 3Q19 quarterly results. DXC Technology reported declining revenue but improved bookings in its financial results for FY 3Q19. The company needs to continue to fuel its digital engine to achieve revenue growth as it struggles with major declines in its core legacy infrastructure and application management businesses.

"The acquisition of Luxoft gives DXC more digital talent and a starting point in the emerging IT-enabled operational technologies (OT) sector. However, DXC continues to struggle as compared with other firms that have been able to build digital businesses fast enough to begin to see growth despite the drag from the legacy businesses," stated Rebecca Segal, group VP, Worldwide Services research.
