Brother Updates Analysts on Latest B2B Initiatives in a "Fireside Chat"

Abstract

This IDC Market Perspective discusses the recent half-day analyst meeting that consisted of a review of its FY18 financials as well as its B2B marketing programs and product portfolio. Using an atmosphere reminiscent of last year's "fireside chats" between Brother executives and dealers, Brother offered the analyst community an update on its B2B activities over the past year. The event ended with a panel discussion with two dealers that described their current experiences with Brother.

"Brother's latest marketing efforts show promise in transforming the company's print business from an almost exclusive focus on the home office/SOHO segment to extending its reach into the B2B opportunity. The company continues to build momentum in B2B channel with a growing roster of B2B-oriented hardware, software, and services," says Keith Kmetz, IDC's program vice president for Imaging, Printing, and Document Solutions Research.
