Abstract
This IDC Perspective helps the CIO and IT buyer move toward digital transformation (DX). It outlines four types of IT deployment models and the opportunity for the businesses in the DX world. Multiplied innovation means businesses' use of innovation is accelerating. These expansive changes are impacting customer expectations and operational efficiencies of businesses. Technology is no longer just simplifying manual processes but also addressing more complex problems with multiple data points and business processes, streamlining business interactions while allowing workers to be more engaged as they model and predict outcomes across massive data sets and changing data elements.
