This IDC study examines the market for digital agency services globally for 2020–2024.

"Demand for digital agency services will remain strong in the next five years compared with mainstream business, despite taking a hit from the COVID-19 pandemic," said Douglas Hayward, research director for Digital Strategy Consulting and Agency Services at IDC. "While there may be less money to spend on services, particularly those that are discretionary services, enterprises and public bodies will prioritize spend on technologies and services that help them understand, engage with, and serve customers and citizens better. But to stay close to their clients, digital agency services providers must help clients differentiate themselves and find new revenue streams, and more than ever they must provide services with fast payback times and high measurable return on investment."
