This IDC Survey Spotlight presents the "Skill Importance Index (SII)" for the 30 most important skills for security management specialists.
The Skill Importance Index is effectively the actual demand by role for a specific skill. The SII for each role combines the frequency a skill is considered "important" to the role with the share of those who also expect to take training on that skill within 24 months.
Across the globe, organizations are challenged to find staff with the strategically important skills to deploy and use technology for their digital transformation efforts.
