On-line Presentation

Abstract

This IDC Survey examines the current views and perspectives of U.S. vehicle owners. It represents the first of three presentations IDC plans to publish (the other two will be published subsequently) and focuses on the topics and key trends in the areas of individual and household vehicle ownership, vehicle usage, and future buying preferences including respondent's views of electric vehicles (EVs). IDC has also included summary and key takeaway slides based on our analysis and perspective.

This Survey includes highlights and trends from IDC's U.S. Consumer Connected and Automated Vehicle Survey conducted in April 2019 consisting of 2008 consumers who currently own and/or lease at least one vehicle.
