Managed CloudView, 2019: Adoption of Managed Cloud Services by Geographies
By: David Tapper Program Vice President, Outsourcing and Managed Cloud Services
Abstract
This IDC Pivot Table provides the results of IDC's worldwide buyer study on the use of managed cloud services. The accompanying Excel file shows results across multiple geographies including worldwide, EMEA (France and the United Kingdom), the United States, Mexico, Japan, and Australia. More than 40 topics are covered as part of this study, which provides insight into issues such as maturity of use of managed cloud services, innovation requirements, sourcing strategy, deal making factors, positioning across the ecosystem of vendors, and benchmarking of managed service providers (SPs). Within each different geographic view, the data is presented by employee size, industries, roles (LOB versus IT), knowledge of managed cloud services, use of managed cloud services, role in managed cloud services, managed cloud services for SaaS enablement, and platform ownership.
"This IDC Pivot Table provides in-depth data and information on buyer needs of managed cloud services that will help managed SPs and their partners to optimize managed cloud services opportunities, determine critical investments needed to support these services, identify the best-fit solutions for customers and, ultimately, help drive success in this rapidly expanding market," said David Tapper, VP Outsourcing and Managed Cloud Services at IDC.
