Abstract

This IDC Market Perspective discusses buyer needs for managed multicloud services to deliver multicloud management capabilities. Expanding enterprise use of multiple types of clouds (private, public, hybrid) involving multiple types of service providers (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), coupled with the need to ensure continuous innovation, transformation, and operational excellence, is driving the need for enterprises to utilize managed multicloud services that involve multicloud management capabilities. Supporting the provisioning of managed multicloud services will require breadth of capability and investments.
