Abstract

This IDC Perspective discusses Kaltura Connect 2020, held January 21–23 in New Orleans, which drew more than 800 attendees and showcased plenty of exciting customer success stories from enterprise learning, collaboration, education, and cloud TV. With 80 sessions, 5 tracks, 27 sponsors in the exhibition hall, and a stellar lineup on the main stage, Kaltura put on a great conference after many years of virtual events. Kaltura also announced the acquisition of Newrow, which completes its portfolio of enterprise video solutions by providing real-time, interactive videoconferencing for audiences of any size.

"Kaltura has grown strongly over the past several years and is doing well in all of its market segments — not just in enterprise and education but also in media and entertainment industry where it offers its Kaltura TV Platform," said Melissa Webster, vice president, Content and Digital Media Technologies. "The addition of Newrow gives Kaltura a compelling meeting solution to add to its webcasting, now supporting town halls, large virtual events, and one-to-one collaboration — with all of the interactive ingredients that build engagement."
