On-line Presentation

This IDC Survey includes data from IDC's April 2020 U.S. IT Preparedness Survey. It provides results and analysis from a survey of 104 respondents who are IT decision makers and/or influencers in their organization's work transformation initiatives. Respondents are from a range of industries and company sizes in the United States. The goal of the survey was to understand how prepared organizations were to address the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis relative to the complexity of their changing circumstances. This IDC Survey specifically looks at the levels of confidence and areas of concern for organizations navigating the dynamics of work transformation.

"Despite concerns about security, productivity, and employee engagement, IT leaders are currently showing confidence in their organizations' ability to manage through challenging times," said Amy Loomis, research director, IDC's Future of Work. "The critical balance for IT leaders will be to apply a cross-functional lens that supports both technology and employee development in the months ahead."
