This IDC study characterizes the mobile game and handheld console game marketplace through 2025. The forecast assesses market dynamics in four regions: North America, Western Europe, Asia/Pacific (AP), and the rest of the world (ROW). Smartphone and tablet installed bases (IBs), OSs and storefront dynamics, gamer ARPU, download totals, and a breakout of direct game spending and in-game ad revenue are included and examined in significant detail. Market drivers, inhibitors, and trends are additionally assessed, as are leading mobile game publishers by revenue and downloads.
