This IDC Tech Buyer Presentation provides an initial look at the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the worldwide agriculture industry. Analysis on the disruptions to agriculture demand and supply chain, from farm to table, is offered.

"COVID-19 has hit other industries such as travel, hospitality, and retail particularly hard, much harder than the agriculture industry. However, issues affecting the agriculture supply chain can lead to major disruptions to food security should the pandemic continue to affect various aspects of the value chain. While technology isn't the solution to all the problems the industry is facing, it can certainly help alleviate some of the impact of the disruptions," says John Zhang, research analyst, IDC Energy Insights.
