By: Cushing AndersonProgram Vice President, IT Education and Certification

Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight examines those skills that are most critical to help organizations recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has dramatically changed the way most organizations work worldwide. This has changed skills development programs and organizational skill priorities. Data is derived from IDC's COVID-19 Impact on IT Spending Survey conducted from 4 June and 15, 2020.

In IDC's opinion, a mature, holistic, and agile approach to skills development of the workforce is strongly correlated with a better business outcome. And focusing on those skills that are critical will help position the IT organization to properly support organizational recovery.
