Hybrid Work Models Define the Future of Work

By: Holly MuscolinoResearch Vice President, Content Strategies and the Future of Work

Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights how hybrid work models define the future of work. Hybrid work models are here to stay for the foreseeable future. Half of the respondents in a recent IDC survey indicate that remote and hybrid work models will be an embedded part of accepted work practices for many industries, and that workplace transformation programs will be a priority technology investment over the next two years. This survey included 738 decision makers and influencers in line with business and IT that are responsible for or influence their organization's spending on IT products and services. This document explores which pandemic era work transformation practices and technology advances emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic are most likely to endure.
