Abstract

This IDC Survey provides a summary of U.S. page volume expectations after the COVID-19 pandemic. At the end of 2020, IDC asked U.S. decision makers about the impact of COVID-19 on their organization's use of printer and MFP equipment. Specifically, these questions targeted the anticipated page volume usage trend. The survey revealed that the most significant negative impact should be expected in larger companies, MPS customers, and organizations considered leaders in their digital transformation (DX) initiatives. Segmentation of these responses is included by the following categories:

  • Company size
  • MPS versus non-MPS customers
  • Organization's DX status
