Abstract

This IDC Market Presentation details 14 in-depth interviews with principal owners in the office equipment channel that were conducted by IDC. These dealers represented a mix of MFP brands spanning the U.S. market. The goal of the interviews was to identify the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of the customer base. The customer base consisted mostly of SMBs and included insights from the key document-intensive vertical markets where copying and printing volumes were significant. We explored several topics during our one-hour discussions such as:
