Abstract

This IDC Survey explores the degree to which organizations have increased investment in digital and work transformation to support hybrid work models, as the ongoing disruption challenges efforts of organizations to return to pre-pandemic work practices. This IDC Survey draws data from IDC's July 2021 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey Wave 6. The data demonstrates ongoing momentum and investment, even for those organizations that do not plan to increase spending, focused on work transformation and hybrid work.

"While there are still organizations and geographies that are struggling to support hybrid work models, the majority have approaches in progress that offer all employees access to key resources (including coworkers) with minimal disruption," said Amy Loomis, research director, Future of Work, at IDC. "This trend is evident across technology investment levels, geographies, industries, and both enterprise and medium-sized clients."
