Abstract

This IDC study provides IDC's 2022 top 10 predictions for artificial intelligence.

"The year 2020 accelerated digital transformation and moved AI out of the corners into the mainstream. The 'early adopter' advantage is petering out, and AI is rapidly integrated into the fabric of business, seeping into more business-critical functions like marketing, legal, human resources (HR), and procurement," says Ritu Jyoti, group vice president, Worldwide Artificial Intelligence and Automation Research at IDC. "As AI-mature enterprises move on to using AI to develop new products and services, beyond automating processes and optimizing efficiencies, the need for better AI assurance is paramount."
