Abstract

This IDC Market Presentation describes IDC's Enterprise Intelligence Index and why organizations should focus on growing it. Enterprise intelligence has several first-order benefits such as improved knowledge use, decision making, and efficiencies that in turn result in better business outcomes. IDC's Enterprise Intelligence Index is built based on a global data set that classifies organizations into four quartiles and shows the difference in business outcomes for organizations with poor enterprise intelligence compared with those with excellent enterprise intelligence.
