This IDC study quantifies the U.S. printer page volume market opportunity in detail, analyzing issues, trends, and changes in device usage. It contains IDC's review and forecast of the U.S. printer page volume market for 2015–2025. Installed base, average monthly page volumes, and total annual page volumes are forecast for 2021-2025 while actual history is provided for 2015-2020.

"COVID-19 sharply reduced U.S. single-function printer page volume in 2020 and 2021, and it is not expected to rebound to pre-pandemic levels. The single-function printer market remains a mature market facing a declining installed base and decreasing AMPVs in most segments for the foreseeable future.
