This IDC Survey Spotlight includes responses from 100 state and local government decision makers and indicates that agencies are digitizing their data and redesigning systems for AI applications. All but 1% of the agencies are currently using or expected to use AI. Whether moving to cloud or adopting AI IDC recommends that agencies have a plan and architecture that anticipates the future, as policies, funding, programs, and constituency needs will change.
