Abstract
This IDC study presents an outlook on the DRAM market for 2022–2026. The DRAM industry dynamics and the application forecast changes are aggregated, analyzed, and applied to this long-term DRAM forecasts in terms of units, revenue, and content per system for each application segment.
"Strong supply chain constraint and unexpected external factors outside the memory industry will cause extremely low market visibility. Industry participants will maintain conservative behavior. Such low volatility will lead to considerable market growth this year. The current upcycle will continue this year, and mild down cycle will follow," says Soo Kyoum Kim, associate vice president, IDC's Memory Semiconductors research program.
