Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight examines the latest worldwide and U.S. results from the Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey. This analysis compares the responses to print spending trends from when the question was raised in October 2021 with the latest results from March 2022.

The survey results for print spending show a marked difference between the global responses and the U.S.-only responses. The worldwide responses showed little change over the past six months and continue a largely positive trend for print spending. On the other hand, the U.S. responses veer in a new direction for 2022 when comparing the two results. In the latest survey response, U.S. respondents convey a more equal response between negative and neutral positive directional spending trend. The highest response was positive, but the dramatic increase in neutral responses appears to indicate a greater degree of uncertainty.
