NITA and SOAR Tools: Extracting Value from Tools That Provide Visibility and Security Workflow
Abstract
This IDC Survey examines feature importance in network intelligence and threat analytics (NITA) and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms. IDC surveyed approximately 400 U.S. respondents at organizations with more than 1,000 employees, who had knowledge of the software tools used in their organization's security operations centers (SOCs) to gain insight into the requirements for NITA and SOAR tools. Respondents addressed topics such as the amount spent on tools and expectations for spending in 2022 and whether the tools are used on premises or in the cloud.
