Abstract

This IDC Survey provides insight into enterprises' expectations on how inflation will impact cloud costs in PaaS. Current macroeconomic conditions including inflationary concerns are causing organizations to take a variety of responses to address increases in cloud costs, and this research shows that those responses vary by region when it comes to the PaaS segment of the cloud. It then looks at the range of ways that enterprises will strategically respond to cost increases in PaaS and examines the regional differences between North America, EMEA, and Asia/Pacific.

This document also highlights worldwide and regional data from IDC's Worldwide Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending (FERS) Survey, Wave 3, conducted in April 2022.
