This IDC Market Presentation lists the Smart Cities North America Award Winners and Finalists for 2022. IDC's fifth annual Smart Cities North America Awards were presented at Smart Cities Connect, in Columbus, Ohio, on April 6, 2022. Leveraging a combination of public voting and scoring by an international panel of Smart Cities experts, winners were selected from submissions spanning 14 Smart City categories, including Administration; Civic Engagement; Connected & Autonomous Vehicles, Public Transit, Ride-hailing & Ride-sharing; Data-driven Policing; Digital Equity And Accessibility; Economic Development; Education; Public Health & Social Services; Next-Generation Emergency Services; Smart Buildings; Smart Water; Sustainable Infrastructure; Transportation Infrastructure; and Urban Planning and Land Use. In total, 3,200 public votes were cast for the various entries!
