IDC's Worldwide CEO Survey, 2022: Security and Risk Are Top of Mind for CEOs
Abstract
This IDC Survey explores the results of IDC's Worldwide CEO Survey to provide insights into CEOs' priorities related to cybersecurity for 2022 and beyond. The study findings are designed to help tech vendors understand how to meet the changing priorities of the CEO and can serve as peer reference research for CEOs in the enterprise. The survey examines business and board priorities, spending plans, the investment focus, skill requirements, the role of tech leadership, and vendor selection.
This analysis is based on the full international set of respondents from IDC's Worldwide CEO Survey, conducted December 2021 and January 2022. The respondents included 389 organizations from North America, Asia/Pacific, and Europe. The survey targets (deputy/business unit) CEOs and managing directors and provides an unprecedented view of CEO priorities, strategies, and plans for the post-COVID-19 pandemic era.
