This IDC Survey Spotlight looks at the percentage of respondents that have adopted automation and currently operate or plan to adopt a line-of-business developer program across North America, EMEA, and APJ. Also known as "citizen developer" programs, the planned adoption over the next few years signals widespread growth in business developers using low-code software platforms, including workflow/process automation, robotic process automation, integration, and application development, blurring the lines between IT and business developer functions.
