Abstract

This IDC study presents the U.S. results of IDC's 2022 Future of Connectedness MaturityScape Benchmark Survey and should be viewed as a supplement to IDC MaturityScape: Future of Connectedness 1.0 (IDC #US48895522, March 2022). Together, they provide a comprehensive overview of IDC's future of connectedness maturity model.

"As United States–based organizations have been forced to adapt to the new normal, it has forced a new focus on driving agility throughout the organization to help mitigate disruption, increase productivity, and allow employees, customers, and partners to stay connected," says Paul Hughes, research director for IDC's Future of Connectedness Agenda program. "Connectivity maturity and agility have become directly linked, where organization that keeps people, process, and things connected; intelligently monitors network traffic; analyzes enterprise workloads in real time; and acts on the resulting insights become increasingly agile and competitive."
