This IDC Survey Spotlight looks at the perceptions of C-suite executives on the upcoming economic disruption. While most executives believe that the world economy is facing an economic recession in the coming months, opinions vary on the impact of the economic disruption on various ICT sectors.
The data is collated from IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, which was fielded in October 2022. The study surveyed 817 IT buyers on their expectation of an economic recession and its impact on spending on IT infrastructure and services. The survey included countries in North America, Europe, and the Asia/Pacific region.
