Enterprises Plan to Continue Investments with Broadcom-VMware After the Acquisition
Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight examines a recent IDC survey of large enterprises that found that the acquisition of VMware by Broadcom appears to have broad support. In fact, only 17% of surveyed enterprises stated their investments would not increase over the next two years. IDC noted that Broadcom is taking a new approach with the VMware acquisition. Broadcom executives have increased their communication and transparency with customers prior to the finalization of the acquisition. This proactive approach on Broadcom's plans for future growth of VMware seems to be reassuring customers.
