Abstract

This IDC Perspective identifies five key areas enterprises should consider as they invest to reduce costs, increase productivity, and drive the business toward a more sustainable future in the coming year. As enterprises and consumers enter 2023, they all face a unique set of mixed market and economic signals. Yet the desire to engage, transform, and succeed efficiently and cost effectively is keeping digital transformation and connectivity in place.

"As businesses look ahead and manage through the mixed economic signals already seen in the 2023 business year, prioritizing efficiency, productivity, and agility are still top of mind as enterprises invest in connectivity," commented Paul Hughes, research director for IDC's Future of Connectedness Agenda Program.
