Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight examines the business appetite for employer-funded (corporate liable [CL) broadband connectivity for work-from-home (WFH) and hybrid workers. Businesses have a relatively long history of CL mobile phone service, but similar programs to support the broadband connectivity of remote and hybrid employees has been limited in the past only to mission-critical employees. But the acceptance and scaling of hybrid work in the post-COVID-19 pandemic area is necessitating that companies reevaluate wider use of CL broadband.
Insights are derived from 800+ worldwide IT decision-maker responses in IDC's monthly Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 10, November 2022, which examines enterprise spending and investment plans in digital transformation, business resiliency, and specific IT technologies.
