HR teams are more likely to be overburdened, and the more dissatisfied they are with annual benefits costs, perceived negotiation power, and resulting administration. As HR teams are pressed to optimize benefits administration, they are leaning into variable benefits structures in well-being, performance incentives in rewards and recognition, and workforce community support structures in employee resource groups (ERGs). The more likely organizations are to support variable benefits structures, the more likely they are to generate cost savings and improve productivity. At the same time, the more likely they are to incentivize work and support ERGs, the more likely they are to improve performance and operational efficiency.
