Abstract
This IDC Survey reveals that C-suite executives are keenly aware of the need to meet emerging customer and employee expectations for generative AI (GenAI). Marketing, sales, customer experience (CX), customer service, and support are on the front lines of customer interactions and are therefore high-risk, high-reward users of generative AI. Most of these teams have started to implement GenAI, with more than half expecting to implement eight of the top 10 use cases in the next 12 months.
