IDC Francophone CIO Summit 2014

Being a CIO in the New Business World of Tech+ Transformation

El Jadida, April 29, 2014 - April 30, 2014

What’s New in 2014?

Annual CIO Survey: Additional insights will be gleaned from IDC’s annual survey to help validate and drive key themes and topics based on varying levels of importance, not only to the CIO, but also to key stakeholders across the enterprise.

Analyst Interaction: Meet with industry experts who provide valuable insights and analysis to top ICT vendors, technology buyers, and the end-user community throughout the year. IDC and Insights analysts will be available for private one-to-one meetings throughout the the Francophone CIO Summit  2014, offering strategic advice on your most pressing business and technology concerns. You can sign up for these private meetings onsite at the Analyst Connection Kiosk.

Make Connections: IDC is committed to helping CIOs connect directly with our analysts so as to address the specific issues and challenges that are unique to your business. The summit also provides unrivalled access to your peers and colleagues through numerous small and private group discussions.

Meet IDC’s chief research officer, chief analyst, and more than 20 international and regional practice heads.

As the business landscape and the technology businesses rely on, have transformed in recent years, CIOs have become faced with new types of challenges that were not part of the job only a few years back. This year’s CIO Summit will explore the new types of challenges that CIOs are faced with as a result of 3rd platform technologies – or what IDC refers to as the 4 pillars of technology: Cloud, Big Data, Mobility and Social.

All these technologies are not only changing the technology solutions that CIOs need to implement, they are also fundamentally affecting the role of IT in the organisation, the tasks and responsibilities of the IT department, and the skill sets required by the CIO and the IT staff. The Summit will explore some of the key areas that in particular affect CIOs today.

Join us at the largest gatherings of CIOs in North & French Africa , 2013 brought together over 139 attendees to collaborate, connect, and inspire. Now in its Second year, IDC’s Francophone  CIO Summit is the foremost gathering of CIOs, providing a number of platforms for sharing ideas, advisory services to better assist them in their jobs, as well as establishing a peer-to-peer community.

The Series provides thought-provoking and actionable insights to CIOs and Senior IT Executives through a mix of presentations and case studies.  Technology heads will have the opportunity to hear about the latest global trends, learn from ICT best practices and get involved in general discussions with colleagues and peers during the dedicated networking breaks.
