Synchronized Security – A Revolution in Threat Protection

Samson Ogada
Presales Manager - Kenya, Sophos
For decades, the security industry has been treating network security, endpoint security, and data security as completely different entities. It’s the equivalent of putting three security guards in your building – one outside the front door, one inside, and one in front of your safe – but not allowing them to talk to each other. But as threats get more complex, and IT resources continue to be stretched, it’s no longer possible to maintain this approach without compromising their protection. “Synchronized Security” is a new approach to IT Security, synchronizing endpoint and network security systems to provide automated correlation, threat discovery, and incident response in seconds, simplifying management and enabling faster decision making.

Panel Discussion: The CxO Growth Imperative: Innovative, Integrate and Incorporate Technology

Technological change is the biggest, most disruptive force facing today's corporations. But technology isn’t changing only corporations — it's also changing the job of the CXO, bringing with it the challenge of keeping up with technological development. While there are multiple sources of potentially valuable intelligence, CXOs have to be clear about their priorities and also reconsider the composition of their teams, which must reflect the modern age and be on top of new technology and concepts that tap into the voice of customers, communities, and social media in a digital environment. The way CXOs communicate with the organization and other stakeholders is also changing. And while technology provides valuable new communication channels for any business leader, its use does not come without concerns. This session will explore how CXOs can leverage technology to assess and deliver on evolving customer expectations by implementing customer relationship management systems, interpreting complex and evolving needs of customers through data and analytics, and improving communication and engagement with the use of social media.
