Zero Trust Access Management Starts with Secure Identity

Aziz Şaşmaz

Cybersecurity Group Manager, Doğuş Teknoloji

The human factor at the identity layer is a critical component of the zero trust ecosystem. All access requests over the network or the internet should always be verified first. The zero-trust approach provides a strategic capability for companies to adopt new technology and practices on their transformation journey, optimize their productivity, and lower their risk surface. We will examine identity and access management (IAM) solutions, which are the key starting point for organizations on their zero trust journey.

Blurred Lines: The Intersection of Identity and Privilege

Serhat Erkan

Senior Sales Engineer, CyberArk

Security professionals are asked to keep pace with everything from accelerating digital transformations to evolving methods of attack. Recently there has been a massive shift, blurring the lines between privilege and identity. Distributed workforces have erased once-defined security perimeters. Today identity is the new security battleground.
These changes call for a unique security-first approach we call Identity Security that recognizes the nature of privilege is rapidly changing while the number, types, and interrelationships of identities are exploding. This is creating new dimensions to the threat landscape that, if improperly secured, can provide an attack path to an organization's most valuable assets.
