Dan Timberlake was appointed UK and Ireland managing director and group vice president in 2014, and he is responsible for the UK&I Commercial operation at IDC. He is an accomplished and professional business leader with strategic management experience in sales, marketing and operations.

Dan Timberlake was appointed UK and Ireland managing director and group vice president in 2014, and he is responsible for the UK&I Commercial operation at IDC. He is an accomplished and professional business leader with strategic management experience in sales, marketing and operations. He joined IDC in 2001 and has held various commercial roles during his tenure with a key focus on supporting IDC clients with complex and multilayered strategic research projects. He has also been instrumental in the development and success of IDC's integrated marketing portfolio across Europe.

In his current role, he is focused on diversity and inclusion in the workplace and on the importance of technology and the impact it is having on business and society through the IDC initiatives and events he supports. Prior to joining IDC, he held sales and marketing roles at AXA Insurance, The Financial Times and CPM International.
