This IDC Perspective is the first in a three-part series that provides the definitive digital transformation (DX) definition, explains what digital fitness is, and describes the three broad types of DX and the five DX dimensions and masteries. This first part provides understanding of DX, ways to think about the type or types of transformation you want to undertake, and the dimensions of transformation required to become a digitally capable organization.
