Abstract
This IDC Tech Buyer Presentation will describe how blockchain works, define its value proposition, and provide a sample blockchain threat model to leverage when evaluating your own blockchain deployments. Blockchain technology is being touted as the "next big thing," seemingly capable of great feats of strength and perhaps even curing the common cold. But what exactly is it and how could it contribute to a security program? In any case, we'll need to understand how to secure it.
