IDC Future of Work Summit 2020

What does the Future of Work mean to me?

Urbanizacion Son Vida, Palma de Mallorca, June 22 - June 23, 2020

IDC European Future of Work (FoW) Practice Team is delighted to announce the second IDC European FoW Executive Summit, to be held in Palma de Mallorca on June 22 – 23, 2020.

This year’s theme is “What does the Future of Work mean to me?”, and we will be focusing on the impact of FoW at three levels: on our employees, on our business and on the ultimate purpose (raison d'être) of our organization. Our aim is to demystify the concept of the “Future”, and make it real, relevant to our working day.

IDC firmly believes that the Future of Work is an opportunity to bring out the best of humankind. As we embark on the era of cognitive computing, human and machine collaboration is giving way to a new work model where trust, accountability, flexibility and creativity are intrinsic values for success.  Tech for good is more than a societal cause, it’s the new modus operandi of modern work to create a sustainable future.

In this evolution, our companies are becoming “living organisms”. Our companies are craving for a nourishing work culture, are constantly evolving (for survival) and aspiring to build a better world. We, each of us, want to feel empowered to drive this change.  How can I make my employees feel valued and engaged? How can I create long-term business value for all my stakeholders? This event can give the right pointers.

This IDC Future of Work Summit will be an exclusive forum where C-level executives from various lines of business can discuss the requirements for building a successful FoW strategy.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Key Themes

What does the future of work mean to me?

The Future of Work is a major force for positive change at three levels: driving a human employee experience that creates a sense of belonging and meaning at work; supporting new business models for the digital economy; and fostering a culture of corporate social responsibility.

At this event, industry leaders, analysts, and delegates will explore together how the Future of Work can answer the following key themes:

Ethical, socially responsible

How can my organization generate a “long-term” value for all stakeholders?

How can it drive social, humanitarian and ecological change?

Business outcomes

How can my company be more agile and deliver differentiated value to customers?

How can I make it more operationally efficient?

Employee Experience

How can my employees feel empowered, valued and trusted?

How can they feel more engaged?

What working environment will allow them to collaborate borderless and to be focused on outcomes?
