Overview

Every day, software becomes a bigger part of how every organisation competes. To stay relevant, organisations must weave software into business models, ship software at speed, and always keep it online. The bottom line is that every organisation must evolve to operate more like a software company, to continually produce software-enabled digital products and services at the speed the business requires.

As a result, organisations have stepped up software development investment programs, and in 2020 IDC finds that "those with a higher degree of software development and delivery maturity can push digital ideas to production in just 17 days". So, the burning question is, are you playing catch up and what can you do to speed-up?

For many organisations, an inability to access the right data quickly and easily has become the laggard in the app development value chain. Organisations are challenged to unite and integrate data silos, measure the actual effort to deliver value, and remove redundancies, waste, and inefficiencies in the release pipeline.

Just think how these inefficient data operations create financial burden, impede innovation, and expose us to governance and compliance risks! Across Europe, just 7% of large organisations have achieved end-to-end continuous delivery capabilities. To reach a new pace of app development we need to create a template for app development transformation success.

On May 25, at 9:30am, join this IDC Virtual Roundtable, co-hosted with Delphix, to discuss how we can lay the foundations for application development transformation:

OPTIMISE release cycles for continuous delivery: How can we achieve end-to-end continuous delivery capabilities?

ELIMINATE critical points of data friction: How can we deliver, sync, and integrate high-quality data environments to accelerate application development cycles?

ACCELERATE app development transformation and fuel continuous transformation: How can we create a template for app development transformation success?
