Abstract
This IDC Survey provides an overview of enterprise preferences, challenges, initiatives, and partner preferences around topics including traditional telecom services, next-gen virtual networking and software-defined services, collaboration, and multicloud networking in the Asia/Pacific region. The report, targeted toward tech vendors and telcos serving enterprise customers, aims to help SPs better understand their customers’ needs.
IDC’s 2022 Asia/Pacific Communications and Collaboration Survey surveyed 1,200 enterprise ICT decision makers in the region. "The enterprise ICT landscape is changing at a breakneck pace, with traditional telecom services being replaced by next-generation virtual networking and software-defined services. As multicloud networking becomes the norm, tech vendors and telcos need to keep up with the latest trendsto stay ahead of the competition," says Nikhil Batra, research director on telecoms, IDC Asia/Pacific. "SPs willing to embrace change and adapt to the offer more flexible, scalable, and secure solutions will succeed," he adds.
